Received his Juris Doctor in 1975 and is a member of the Illinois Bar, as well as several United States District and Appellate Courts, including the United States Supreme Court. Concentrates his practice in insurance coverage disputes, personal injury defense, transportation and maritime law and general litigation. Is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Association, as well as the Transportation Lawyers Association.
Has served on the faculty of Loyola University of Chicago's Law School and has also lectured on insurance-related issues, defense litigation, and trial advocacy at various law schools and seminars.
